Privacy Policy
How LG Financial Group Inc. collects, uses and protects your personal information.
LG Financial Group Inc. ("we", "us") is an Ontario insurance agency. Goran Lacic is our licensed life and health insurance agent. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the privacy requirements of the insurers we work with.
What we collect
- When you contact us through our website forms, a LinkedIn form, email or phone: your name, email, phone number, company name, job title and what you ask about. On a group benefits enquiry, that can include the number of employees and your renewal date. On a life insurance quote request, it can include your date of birth, the amount of coverage and the type of coverage you're looking for.
- When you become a client: the information needed to give advice and apply for coverage, such as financial details and, for insurance applications, health information. We collect this only with your consent, usually on the insurer's own forms.
- When you visit our website: technical information such as pages viewed, the type of device and how you arrived, through cookies and similar tools (see below).
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a call or meeting
- To prepare quotes, recommendations and applications, and to service your policies and plans
- To meet our legal, licensing and regulatory obligations
- With your separate consent, to send our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only as needed to do the work you ask us to do, or where the law requires it:
- Insurance companies, the managing general agency we place business through, actuaries and plan administrators, when you ask us to quote or apply
- Your accountant or other advisors, with your permission
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host (Netlify), our email service (Brevo) and LinkedIn for LinkedIn forms. They may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local law.
- Regulators and authorities, when required by law
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses Google Analytics, Google Ads and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. They help us understand which pages are useful, measure enquiries from our ads, and show our ads to people who have visited our site. They don't give us your name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalization in your Google and LinkedIn account settings.
How we protect it and how long we keep it
We use reasonable safeguards, including password-protected systems and limited access. We keep client records for as long as our licensing and insurer obligations require, and enquiry details only as long as they're useful for your request.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contractual limits. Withdrawing consent may mean we can't provide some services.
